Abstract: Succinate:quinone oxidoreductases (SQORs, EC 1.3.5.1 [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]) are enzymes that couple the two-electron oxidation of succinate to fumarate (reaction 1) to the two-electron reduction of quinone to quinol (reaction 2):
succinate -> fumarate + 2H+ + 2e- (1)
quinone + 2H+ + 2e- -> quinol (2)

Enzyme: Complex II;succinate dehydrogenase
Correction: FADH2 and Complex II
- FADH2 is shown as the substrate feeding electrons into Complex II (CII). This is wrong and requires correction - for details see Gnaiger (2024).
