Description
Hypothermia in endotherms is a state of stressful up to lethal low body core temperature. In humans, the limit of hypothermia is considered as 35 ยฐC, compared to normothermia at a body temperature of 36.5 to 37.5 ยฐC. Hypothermia is classified as mild (32โ35 ยฐC), moderate (28โ32 ยฐC), severe (20โ28 ยฐC), and profound (<20 ยฐC).
