Event: MiPschool Obergurgl 2017

COST Action MitoEAGLE

Mitochondria are considered as a relevant source of reactive oxygen species (ROS), especially under pathological conditions. During the last decade, a large collection of chemical and genetically-encoded fluorescent sensors have been developed for the measurement of ROS levels, ROS production and redox homeostasis. In this presentation, various aspects of these sensors will be discussed using examples from the literature and the author’s own research [1,2,3,4,5,6].
