Abstracts

  • Categories: Early career investigators (ECI) and students are invited to submit abstracts in four alternative categories:
  1. SUIT protocols: basic concepts. - » MitoPedia: SUIT
  2. SUIT protocols: various applications with intact cells and mt-preparations.
  3. Discuss definitions and controversies for a selected term on respiratory states and respiratory control ratios. - » MitoPedia: Respiratory states, MitoPedia: Respiratory control ratios
  4. Present your abstract as a definition of a term in the context of mitochondrial physiology that is missing in MitoPedia. - » MitoPedia
  • Format
Doerrier 2017 Abstract MITOEAGLE Barcelona
Template 2017 Abstract MiPschool Obergurgl
  • Abstract submission and review
  1. Proposed submission deadline: 2017-May-15.
  2. Eligibility: Early career investigatrs and students from all COST countries and International Partner Countries can apply - MITOEAGLE network.
  3. Check the MITOEAGLE member website (MITOEAGLE network), and select a 'Mentor'. Click on the highlighted name of the mentor for further details.
  4. Check the section MITOEAGLE mentor. There may be information that the mentor is fully booked.
  5. If the mentor has open slots, add the name of your selected mentor as a final section of your abstract.
  6. Send an Email with the word file of your abstract in the attachment to your mentor. Mention MITOEAGLE mentor in the subject line of your Email. Provide a brief explanation to your selected mentor in the form of a cover letter.
  7. Send your Email in Cc to [email protected]
  8. Your mentor will act as the contact to review your abstract and recommend you as a recepient of the MITOEAGLE scholarship.
  9. Experimental abstracts will be reviewed and accepted entirely independent of the experimental platform used in the study, and a wide variety of experimental approaches is highly welcome.

Support

MITOEAGLE scholarships for Early Career Investigators and students

  • Submitted abstracts provide the basis for allocation of MITOEAGLE scholarships.
  • Proposed deadline: 2017-May-15.
  • 42 basic scholarships will cover the local costs (accommodation, meals and registration).
  • Students from Inclusiveness Target Countries are eligible for extended scholarships covering travel costs in addition to the basic scholarship.
  • Abstracts submitted with data suitable for the data bases or Working Groups 2, 3 and 4 are selected as a basis of additional support for joining the Working Group meeting.
  • MITOEAGLE Working Group participants are supported (as far as possible) to join the MiPschool to be better prepared for the collaboration in the WG meeting, particularly the group working on the terminology review on respiratory states.
