Open positions

Position 1: Quality management

Continuing the development of our Quality Management System in our laboratory, towards implementation of the ISO9001 Quality Management System to obtain the ISO certified regulations.
  • Procedures, equipment quality control, chemicals, reporting (MitoFit Quality Control System)
  • Organization of the MitoFit/MitoEAGLE Proficiency Test: from the presently developed concept (see Proficiency test) to implementation of the ISO 17043 and 13528 standards.
  • Monitoring customer support based on our present ticket system
  • Monitoring sales communication and marketing: from our present O2k-technology to the supply of complete chemical kits; strategies from journal publications to website presentations; target customers and end-users, but also future customers for the medical device applications
  • Team training, internal communications between research & development, project management, and sales & marketing.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation to obtain ISO9001 Quality Management status
  • Support development of our scalable and innovative business strategy towards research instrumentation and medical device products.


Position 2: Implementation of a MitoFit Database

Continue the transition from Excel-based data collections to a software supported database
  • Establish a link between our software development partners and our R&D team with state-of-the-art applications of the Oroboros O2k technology and commercial software standard
  • Co-organize our Excel-based data collection in cooperation with the R&D team
  • Prepare the logistics of development of a database
  • Collect and analyze data in preparation of a database for Open Access in conjunction with the journal publications, e.g. MitoEAGLE project.
  • Establish an integrated and analytic environment linking mitochondrial respiration with external data (cell physiology, anthropometry, spiroergometry, lifestyle, genomics) in the context of physical fitness evaluation and clinical mitochondrial diagnostics.
