Pal: Palmitoyl carnitine (Palmitoyl-DL-carnitine-HCl, C23H45N04HCl); Sigma P 4509, 100 mg, store at -20 Β°C; FW = 436.1

Preparation of 10 mM stock solution (dissolved in H2O):

1) weigh 8.72 mg of palmitoyl carnitine
2) dissolve in 2 ml H2O
3) divide into 0.2 ml portions
4) store frozen at -20 Β°C
