The evaluation of previous training schools will be integrated into the programme of the MitoEAGLE/MiPschool in Coimbra: (1) Abstracts selected for oral presentations (10+5 min) are retained - training for conference presentations with critical discussions. (2) Meet the expert sessions are emphasized - training in small groups. (3) Introductory lectures are extended, replacing conference-style presentations by invited lecturers. Three topics are introduced in detail: (i) reproducibility of sample preparations; (ii) concepts of respirometric SUIT protocols; (iii) interpretation of results. An entrance test will be the basis for providing grants to students.
