Local organizers: Petr Pecina, Tomas Mracek, Josef Houstek (Inst Physiol, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, CZ), The MiPsociety.

Location: LuΔnΓ Bouda (Meadows Chalet; 1410 m - http://www.lucnibouda.cz/en ) is located in the Giant Mountains National Park. LuΔnΓ Bouda is reached from Prague in 2.5 hours. Participants arriving in Prague on Sunday Sep 6 will enjoy a social programme with a visit of the city centre and a boat trip. Transfer by bus from Prague to the conference venue will be arranged with several departures throughout Monday, adjusted to participantsβ travel arrangements with arrival before the conference opening in the evening, to enjoy a taste of PAROHΓΔ (The STAG) β the locally brewed beer. Bus return transfer to Prague, early morning departure from LuΔnΓ Bouda.

- Alterations of mitochondrial physiology in pathologic states β mitochondrial diseases, cancer, diabetes etc.

- Mitochondrial physiology in life and death of the cell β regulation of mitochondrial energy provision signalling, permeability transition
- Mitochondria in whole body physiology β exercise physiology, enviromental effects etc.

Social programme
An optional pre-conference social event will be organized in Prague on Sunday 6th evening, including a river boat cruise with dinner and overnight lodging on a boat hotel (80 EUR total).

Travel information and additional information
Bus transfer from Prague to the conference venue will be arranged according to participants arrivals in Prague on Monday, September 7th. The conference will start in the evening, and ends on Thursday evening, September 10th. The participants are expected to departure the venue on Friday 11th morning in order to manage departures from Prague in the afternoon. The conference venue is in a National park and cannot be accessed by private vehicles. Private vehicles must be parked in the valley village of Pec pod Snezkou. Transfer up to the venue will be provided by hotel vehicles.
