- Oral presentations 10 + 5 (10 min plus 5 min discussion) - maximum of 12 slides
- Mainly reserved for manuscript contributions to the BEC 2022 volume.
- 7 + 3 (7 min plus 3 min discussion) - maximum of 6 slides
- 5 min (if you wish: 4 min plus 1 min discussion) - maximum of 5 slides

Poster presentation - Early Career Investigator Award
- Posters of early career investigators will be evaluated by a committee on a fixed set of criteria and the award will be handed out during the Celebration Dinner at the Brahms restaurant on Thursday evening (June 30).
- Early career investigator definition: Postdoctoral researchers in the time of up to 8 years after their graduation (full-time equivalent). Periods of career leave have to be added to this time span. Current PhD students are also eligible.
