MitoEAGLE Feedback

Please, find enclosed my declaration to participate with my team in the following workgroups: WG1, WG2, WG3, WG4. We are now involved and have been in not a distant past – in studying of the following cell /tissue types:
  1. Blood cells, with particular emphasis on platelets and lymphocytes – isolated from animals and humans.
  2. Endothelial cells, fibroblasts, neurocytes (neuroblastoma), astrocytes, cancer cell lines – predominantly cultured.
  3. Hepatocytes, cardiomyocytes, cell isolated from brain – isolated from lab animals. - Cezary Watala (2016).

Conference flawopiryna (Lodz, PL; Oct 2012)

Feedback by Erich Gnaiger (2012-10-28) to the Conference flawopiryna (Lodz, PL; Oct 2012), organized by Cezary Watala and colleagues: "Dear Colleagues: My feedback and thanks for the hospitality experienced in Lodz and Krakow would be incomplete without emphasizing, that this was an experience of ‘Gentle Science’. While Gentle Science is an illusion that may persist like the never-ending attempts of the Oroboros, Gentle Science can become real life at such rare occasions. And if you want to add a sweet taste to the flavonoids – see the correlation between loving chocolate and winning the Nobel price (Messerli_2012_New England J Med).
